Trash
and Recycling
Collection
The Borough provides curbside trash
and recycling
collection once per week for all residents and commercial establishments
meeting the six (6) bags of trash per pickup limit. Recycling
amount is unlimited and must be in marked containers. The more
recycling placed for pickup the less trash you will have. Place the
trash and recycling containers out after 6 pm on Sunday evening for Monday
AM pick up (No earlier than 6 pm).
EFFECTIVE NOV 1, 2011, QUARTERLY REFUSE RATE
IS $53.55. A rate decrease of about $32.
Recycling is single stream collection.
Commingled items and paper items may be placed in the same recycling
container.

Recycling Regulations
White Goods - stoves, dishwashers,
refrigerators, freezers, hot water heaters, washers and dryers, microwaves
and similar appliances can be placed out for the weekly collection.
All refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers and air conditioners must have
the refrigerant removed and tagged prior to
collection.
Bulk Items - furniture, TVs,
bicycles and large waste materials may be placed at the curb for the weekly
collection.
TIRES ARE NO LONGER PICKED UP FOR TRASH!
If your trash and/or recycling is not
taken by noon on Monday, please call the Borough office at 610-966-2503
to let us know. We will notify the hauler and they should be back that day
or by noon the next day to pick up the missed trash.
