Follow these simple steps to prevent stormwater pollution:

Make sure all chemicals are dissipated before draining a pool or spa

Do not drain pools within 5 day of adding chemicals

Never backwash a filter into the street or stormdrain

Cleanup chemical spills with absorbent, don't wash it
down the drain

Dispose of leftover chemicals and paints through a licensed hazardous
waste disposal provider

and excess nutrients in local waters.
When
walking your pet, remember to pick up the waste and dispose of it
properly. Flushing pet waste is the best disposal method.
