The opening of the Macungie Farmers Market on June 7, 2012 is coming fast.

The Friends of the Farmers Market are excited for the new season.  There are new vendors and different events each week. New vendors continue to be welcomed to the Market.

The Friends of the Farmers Market could not provide the events during the Farmers Market without the support of the Sponsors.  Please support the Farmers Market by submitting the Sponsor Letter.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

The Macungie Farmers' Market is a producer/grower market committed to providing locally grown, fresh food; to preserving our agricultural heritage; and to building community.  The Market helps support local agriculture by connecting farmers with consumers.  This means that you buy directly from the farmers and artisans themselves, not from third parties or re-sellers. Since all vendors are producing these products for you, they can often explain best handling and preparation methods and are always willing to offer FREE advice.

All of the fruits and vegetables sold are seasonal.  Products that will be available at the market are:

vegetables

fruits

honey

eggs

jams and jellies

fresh baked goods

wine

vegan prepared foods

beef, chicken, pork

gourmet quiches

kettlecorn popcorn & nuts

homemade baked beans

homemade pickles

herbs & plants

cut flowers

cheeses

prepared foods and lots more.
