PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE NEEDED
Borough of Macungie is accepting applications for a seasonal
employee with the Public Works Department. This is a seasonal part
time position from June 4, 2018, through August 31, 2018, working
up to 40 hrs./wk. at a rate of $10.00/hr. Valid PA driver’s
license is required. Pre-employment drug testing required.
Knowledge of lawn care and towing experience is preferred.

NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY
is on April 28, 2018 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
This event aims to provide a safe, convenient, and
responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also
educating the general public about the potential for abuse of
drugs can be dropped off in the vestibule of the Borough of
Macungie (Town Hall).
YARD WASTE INFORMATION
Permits for the Borough of Emmaus Municipal Compost Facility are
now available at the Borough of Macungie, Town Hall, at a cost of

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT DEPUTY NEEDED
There is a
vacancy for an Emergency Management Deputy. If you are interested in this

Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) is part of the National
Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). Borough
Council had a plan prepared to implement and address all
requirements of stormwater entering the Little Lehigh Creek and

certification and experience is required.
