What is it?

EARNED INCOME TAX UPDATE -  Beginning with tax year 2012, Earned Income

Tax will be collected by a countywide tax collector.  The Lehigh Tax Collection Committee (TCC) has selected H. A. Berkheimer as the collector.   Visit the Lehigh TCC website (www.lehightcc.org) to learn more about the administration and collection of the earned income tax for Lehigh County.

All 2011 taxes will still be filed with the Macungie Borough Tax Office, including employer 4th Quarter 2011 returns and resident Final Individual Returns for 2011 which both have due dates in 2012. The Borough office will collect 2011 and prior year taxes until June 30, 2012.
